WHO WE ARE

Stefano is a long-standing scholar in the field of sustainability. He is currently tenured faculty at Bocconi University, Department of Management and Technology, and SDA professor of Corporate Sustainability. He designed and was the former director of Bocconi University’s Master in Green Management, Energy and CSR, the world’s best ranked master in Sustainable Development and Environmental Management. He co-founded IMPACTAGE after collecting more than 25 years of experience in the area of sustainability, green management, measurement and sustainability reporting, supply chain and innovation management. He posed focus on topics such as clean tech and renewables, waste management, hydrogen and fuel cells, publishing books, reports and papers on international academic journals. He graduated in Business Administration from Bocconi University and has a Phd in Sustainability and International Management at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna.

Alessandro earned more than 25 years’ experience in CEO, CFO and Corporate Development roles, maturing a deep understanding in numerous sectors such as luxury/fashion, engineering, manufacturing, financial and strategic consultancy. He led primary companies such as Jil Sander Group, Siat and Techint Group, where he leveraged his skills in strategic and commercial development. He has mastered creative and commercial teams’ recruitment processes, financial strategic management operations and directed turnaround activities. He also gathered global experience and flexibility being exposed to diverse international settings as USA, Mexico, Swiss and Italian professional environments. He graduated in Business Administration from Bocconi University and obtained a PMD (Program for Management Development) from Harvard University.

​Fabio is a qualified entrepreneur, CEO and board member, with more than 25 years’ experience in microfinance, SMEs, impact investing and innovative financial instruments in 50+ countries. He co-founded IMPACTAGE after successfully co-founding Microfinanza Srl and MFR, where he also collected competencies as a CEO. Microfinanza Srl is a consulting company specialized in microfinance and financial inclusion, while MFR is an international rating agency specialized in microfinance. He is also currently CEO at Impact Fin Italia. He was Partner and Co-founder of Impact Finance Management, an impact investing fund specialized in agribusiness, energy and microfinance. He obtained two master’s degrees, the first in economic and social disciplines and the second in economics, both from Bocconi University, Milan.

Andrea spent more than 20 years working on Digital Transformation and Innovation, managing highly complex ICT transformation programs working for multinational companies heterogeneous in size, corporate culture and core business (e.g. Reply, NTT Data, Capgemini, EY).
Andrea worked in different Sectors (from Telco to Media and Financial Services) supporting clients into designing and implementing new business and service models and managing very heterogeneous projects end-to-end:  from strategy to solutions scouting, from technology adoption choice to service integration and application maintenance.
In the last years he was supporting several Open Innovation and Tech Transfer Programs, both at national and at international scale.
Andrea graduated in physics from Università degli Studi di Milano and obtained a Master in Business Administration at SDA Bocconi.

Arianna obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in management engineering from the Politecnico di Milano. During her studies, she also had the opportunity to study International Business at the University of Applied Science in Jyvaskyla (Finland). After a brief experience in the consulting world in the Digital Innovation & Transformation field, she directed her career towards Sustainability, supporting the development of projects related to sustainability strategy design, carbon footprinting according to the GHG protocol, and non-financial reporting in various sectors (fashion, textile, manufacturing, chemical, professional services). In July 2022, she obtained the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) Sustainability Professional 2021 certification, related to the sustainability performance reporting standard.

Aldo is an expert of the financial sector, that collected more than 20 years of global working experience in the area. He is currently CEO at MFR, one of the partners of IMPACTAGE that he co-founded. In his long-standing experience he covered roles such as financial analyst, board of directors’ member, manager and CEO, and he matured a deep understanding of the SMEs sector as well as fair trade, sustainable finance, microfinance, mobile money and off-grid networks. He also set up and managed the microfinance investment portfolio of Banca Popolare Etica and the financial consortium ETIMOS. Aldo graduated in political economy from Università degli Studi di Trento, and obtained a master in SMEs’ Marketing Management at Accademia Commercio e Turismo di Trento.

Giampietro spent more than 30 years specializing in the microfinance sector. He is currently president and founding partner of Microfinanza, a consulting company providing technical assistance to microfinance institutions and developing financial inclusion initiatives; he is co-founder of MFR, an international rating agency specialized in microfinance. After such a long time in the investment sector, he masters skills such as coordinating and implementing technical assistance activities, evaluating projects, researching initiatives for international and bilateral bodies. He is also an expert in financial inclusion frameworks, rural and SME finance. Giampietro graduated in Economics and Business and obtained an orientation in political economy at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
